Fall 1946, Bemidji State announces plans to start a hockey team

January 26, 1947, BSU plays their first intercollegiate hockey game, a loss to Itasca.

January 4, 1949, the roof collapses on the Bemidji Sports Arena, forcing the Beavers to move their
     home ice to Lake Bemidji.

February 1, 1948, Bemidji State record their first hockey victory over International Falls.

January 29, 1960, Bemidji State renews their hockey program after a 9 year layoff.

1960, Bemidji State plays on an outdoor rink at the High School Athletic Fields and on campus.

Fall 1967, the Beavers move into the new John Glas Fieldhouse for the first time.

March 9, 1968, Bemidji State captures their first NAIA title with a 5-4 overtime victory over Lake
     Superior State.

March 8, 1969, BSU repeats as NAIA champion with a 6-2 win over Lake Superior State.

March 7, 1970, the Beavers make an NAIA "three-peat" with a 7-4 victory over Lake Superior
     State.

March 7, 1971, BSU makes it four in a row with a 6-2 victory over Lakehead in Bemidji.

March 3, 1973, Bemidji State wins their fifth NAIA title with a 3-2 overtime victory over
    Lakehead.

February 25, 1979, BSU defeats Concordia-Moorhead 5-1 for their sixth NAIA title.

March 3, 1980, the Beavers capture their seventh NAIA title with a 4-3 victory over
     Michigan-Dearborn.

November 8, 1983, the Green and White defeat Winnepeg 9-1 to start their perfect season.

March 18, 1984, Bemidji State wins its eighth National Title with a D-II victory over Merrimack
     8-1 in Bemidji. This victory capped of a perfect 31-0 season.

January 1, 1985, BSU loses to Augsburg, ending their winning streak at 43 games.

March 22, 1986, BSU wins number nine with a D-III victory over Plattsburgh State by the score
     of 8-5 in Bemidji.

March 20, 1993, the Beavers reach double digits with a D-II Title over Mercyhurst 5-0 on the
     Beavers' home ice

March 14, 1994, BSU won their eleventh National Title with a victory over Alabama-Huntsville
     3-2 and 2-1 in the mini-game.

March 18, 1995, the Green and White win number twelve with a 5-4 victory over Mercyhurst.

March 15, 1997, the Beavers win lucky number thirteen on home ice with a 4-2 victory over
     Alabama-Huntsville.

May 26, 1998, the Beavers announce their plans to go to Division One beginning with the
     1998-1999 season.

November 6, 1998, The Beavers defeated Air Force in overtime for their first win at the D-I level.
     It was the first D-I game held in Bemidji.

February 9, 2001, Head Coach R.H. "Bob" Peters wins number 700 at BSU, the only coach to have that many victories at
     one school, with a 6-2 victory over Niagara.

March 3, 2001, Head Coach R. H. "Bob" Peters coaches his final game agianst North Dakota, the school where he got his
     coaching start.  This completes 35 years of coaching at BSU.

April 23, 2001, Former Beaver Tom Serratore is named Head Coach of the Green and White.

October 12, 2001, Bemidji State records their first win over a WCHA opponent with a 7-6 victory over MSU-Mankato.
